Thanks for Joining OceanBased Perpetual Energy at ICOE2021

OceanBased Perpetual Energy Vice President David House issued the May 13, 2021 letter below thanking members of the international marine and ocean energy industry for attending the 2021 International Conference on Ocean Energy (ICOE2021).

OceanBased was both a sponsor, exhibitor and speaker at the event, which marked the first time it had been hosted in the United States and its first-ever virtual edition.

The letter contains a direct hyperlink to the OceanBased ICOE2021 Exhibit Booth, as well as to videos that were shown during the event.

Thank you for attending the recent International Conference on Ocean Energy (ICOE 2021).  We were honored to sponsor the opening session, and have our Chairman & CEO, Nasser M.N. Alshemaimry deliver the Opening Comments. We truly enjoyed the conference and hope you did as well.  Special thanks to the National Hydropower Association and the Event Staff for a well-orchestrated event.

Thanks to ICOE and NHA, our Virtual Exhibit Booth is open for the next year, and you can click here to visit us again anytime.

OceanBased Perpetual Energy validated the perpetual nature of the Florida Gulf Stream in May 2020 during our Gulf Stream Power Demonstration, where we generated power solely from the Gulf Stream currents for a continuous 24-hour period.

We firmly believe this powerful baseload-capable resource should not be overlooked and are planning a Full Scale Commercial Demonstration to confirm megawatt scale capability in the Florida Gulf Stream, and the production of Green Hydrogen from sea water.

We are eager to connect with stakeholders, potential suppliers, and industry peers to advance marine energy in all of its forms, and particularly the unique perpetual ocean currents in the Florida Gulf Stream.  We would love to hear from you and hope to see you at ICOE 2022.

David W. House, Executive Vice President
